Welcome
Youthreach Ballina is a centre of education for early school leavers (15-20yrs) who wish to re-enter the education system. We cater for 25 learners and are located in the town of Ballina with a catchment area encompassing all of North Mayo. Learners from 16 years upwards are eligible for a training allowance. We offer both the Leaving Cert Applied and QQI III programmes.
Of paramount importance is an emphasis on personal development and all learners are encouraged and supported fully during their time with us. Equally, Literacy and Numeracy are prioritised and along with 1:1 supports. Youthreach Ballina is a proud participant in the BelongTo LGBTQ+ Quality Mark, to ensure that Youthreach Ballina is a safe and welcoming place for all of our learners and staff.

including football matches, overnight stays at the Outdoor Education Centre Achill, Musical concerts, trips abroad and numerous fundraising events supporting both local, national and international charities.
